As a French company the original of those terms and conditions are based on the French version available on this website.
Orders and Payment
All prices listed on our website are in Euro (EUR) with American Dollar (USD) real-time exchange equivalent. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and PayPal. By placing an order, you confirm that the payment details provided are valid and that you are authorized to use the payment method.
Secure Payment Options
BaouRouge has selected its secure payment solution from Stripe, Inc. a leading multinational financial services service company (www.stripe.com), allowing our website to accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Alternatively, we also support PayPal Holdings Secure Solutions (www.paypal.com).
Shipment and Delivery
We provide worldwide shipping from France, except to regions where local laws or restrictions prevent delivery (refer to Restrictions below). Free international shipping refers to economy shipping, with delivery times varying depending on your location. Express shipping options may be available for an additional charge, depending on the destination. Our goal is to dispatch all orders within 2 business days, and a tracking number will be provided once your order is shipped.
Customs and Import Duties
For international orders, customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the customer. Please check with your local customs office for more information on possible charges.
Return and Refund Policy (in compliance with EU law)
As an EU-based customer, you have the right to return your order within 14 days of receiving it without providing any reason. To qualify for a return:
- The item must be unused and in the same condition you received it, including original packaging.
- To initiate a return, contact us at contact(a)baourouge.com within 14 days of receiving your order.
Once the return is approved:
- You must return the item at your own expense within 14 days.
- We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned product. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
Non-EU Return Policy
For customers outside the EU, returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is in unused condition and with original packaging. Any duty costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
Restrictions
We do not ship to locations where local laws or import restrictions prevent delivery. We reserve the right to cancel orders to such destinations and will provide a full refund in those cases.
Limitation of Liability
We strive to ensure the accuracy of all information on our website, but we cannot be held responsible for errors, omissions, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our site or products.
Warranty
BaouRouge products are covered by standard legal guarantees as per regulations on goods sold from within the EU, or that of the destination country if the local regulations are superior to that of the EU. BaouRouge’ Precision Slicing Knife Additional Warranty specifies an extends coverage up to 10 years from purchase. This does not affect your right to the legal guarantee. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
