Currently, we do not offer a left-handed version. Creating one requires redesigning multiple components, such as the bevel, blade angle, and handle. We may introduce one in the future based on demand. In the meantime, we do not recommend using the right-handed version if you are left-handed.

Honing helps maintain the blade edge, while sharpening restores dullness. Thanks to our premium steel, the blade remains sharp longer. but regular honing is always a good idea for any knife, dependent on usage frequency. Prefer a ceramic or metal rod to work on the serrated edge. Remove the guide first. On the beveled side of the blade, work the rod through each gullet gently in several short strokes, away from the blade’s edge. Once every gullet has been treated, you may run the flat side of the blade on a whetstone for a perfect and enduring result.

Store your knife on a magnetic strip, knife block (as per the picture), or drawer—just like any other kitchen knife. Ensure the knife is completely dry before storing. Avoid storage by hanging the knife by its lanyard hole.

When in a drawer or a magnetic holder, you can help reduce accidents by setting the guide to the minimum, guide and knife edge will align, protecting the knife edge and fingers from cuts.

Your knife is packaged in a sturdy blister pack for safe shipping. While the packaging can be reused for short-term transport, it’s not intended as long-term blade protection storage.

We recommend hand washing your knife. While the blade itself can go into the dishwasher, the aluminum guide should not, as harsh detergents can cause discoloration or corrosion. Refer to our Aluminum Guide Care page for more tips.

Aluminum is significantly lighter than stainless steel, allowing us to maintain balance without compromising rigidity. A stainless steel guide would add unnecessary weight, affecting the knife’s overall performance.

We recommend using softer surfaces such as wood, bamboo, or plastic cutting boards to preserve the knife’s edge. Avoid hard surfaces like marble, ceramic or glass, as they can cause damage to the blade over time.

This knife requires proper technique, as it differs from other knives. Begin slicing near the handle with a pulling motion rather than pushing from the tip. For perfect slices, follow the User Guide, which outlines the correct slicing angle and techniques. You will get the hang of it in no time!
